M’hamid – Oasis of Mhamid – Sidi Naji, Itinerant Bivouac
At 8 am, you will start off on your 2h30 walk through the golden dunes. As we reach the coveted palm grove, you will have time to rest and to enjoy the palms’ shade and the naturally conditioned fresh air. Lunch will be served right there. When you’ll be ready, we will resume the walk for another 2 hours. The destination: SIDI NAJI bivouacs camp. Once there, tea will be served. In the evening, you will be served dinner and you’ll spend the night, depending on your choice, either under the tent or under the sheltering sky.
Sidi Naji – Erg Ezahar
After your breakfast at SIDI NAJI, we will dismantle the bivouac and load our packages on the dromedaries. Time to head towards Tamarisk trees. We will be there under 2h30 of walking. Lunch will be served right there and you’ll have time to rest. After lunch, we will walk again for another 2 hours through the dunes until we reach the big dunes of Erg Ezahar. There, we will set our camp to serve dinner and spend the night.
Oued Draa – Erg Smar- Kriaat Gemal
Breakfast will be served at Erg Ezahar and then we will go for a 2h30 of walk passing by the Drâa valley until we reach the erg SMAR (old sandy and abandoned village) for the picnic. After that, we will head towards the small dunes of KRIAAT-GEMAL or where we will set the camp for the night.
Lebohr- Erg Bertham
You’ll wake up in the quiet morning in the midst of the small dunes. And after breakfast, we will go for another 2h to 2h30 walk to LEBOHR. There, you will have lunch and then you will walk again to the dunes of BERTHAM where we will set the camp for the night.
Mzouaria – M’hamid
After breakfast we will leave the dunes BERTHAM to walk to MZOUARIA where you will have lunch and some rest. Then, you will return to the fixed bivouac of M’HAMID for a well deserved shower, dinner and overnight at the bivouac.
