Mhamid – The oasis – Erg Chegaga
Departure from M’hamid by 4×4 around 9am, by the sandy track towards Ouad Lahtach, where we stop to admire the landscape (panoramic view). We continue towards the Sacred Oasis. There we will stop at the source under the palm trees. We arrive then at Mehat Solahe for lunch and rest in the shade of palm trees.
In the afternoon, we head straight towards the large dunes of Chigaga. Once there, we unpack and set up our tents before the ascent of the large dune (altitude 300 m.) to admire the sunset.
You will have the possibility of surfing on the dunes, the equipment is available 🙂
Return to the bivouac, and you’ll have a welcome tea, then dinner and musical evening around the campfire.
Chegaga – Mhamid
The next day after seeing the sun rise over the dunes and having breakfast, you will take the return trip by 4×4, with a stop at the well before returning to M’hamid around eleven o’clock.
